Rafael chooses to finish things with Cat, which he informs Jane, but Cat finds out upfront from Petra, whom provides her cash to help keep Rafael from the resort so Petra can search his apartment. During a vacation to a sweat lodge, Rafael passes away and eventually ends up becoming emotional, exposing their newly found parentage.
